Mural sizes are determined
by the number and size tiles* you choose. The number of rows and columns of the mural
will be multiples of the 'width to height' listed for the picture.
For example,
Fall Leaves (width to height=3:2) will be 3 tiles wide by 2 high or (by
doubling) 6 tiles wide by 4 tiles high or (by tripling) 9 tiles wide by 6 tiles
high.
Using 6 inch tiles in this example, a Fall Leaves tile mural can be
18"x12", 36"x24", or 54"x36". To suit your needs,
we can adjust the size by 'cropping' pictures and/or adding a border.
Second example, Five Apples (4:3) can
be 4 tiles across and 3 tiles high, 8 tiles across and 6 tiles high, or 12 tiles
across and 9 tiles high. Final dimensions will depend on whether you select 4
inch, 6 inch, or 8 inch tiles.
To place an order, count the number of tiles you want for
your tile mural and the type of tiles you want. Any of these works may be
selected for reproduction on custom tile murals of ceramic, porcelain, tumbled
marble, and glass. Notify us of the name of your selection by
email or in the 'note' section when you order
tiles.
