Custom-Tile Policies and Procedures
Digital files should be at least 240 ppi (100-500 MB files are not uncommon) or as large as possible and we can enlarge it to final image size. We prefer tiff, psd, jpg and non-interlaced png. Our service is personal and friendly - call 434-660-7170 to discuss your tile project and picture questions. Our aim to insure the highest possible image quality.
If you do not have the digital image sizes recommended, send the largest size you can; we will check its suitability for your project.
You may send art or photos for us to scan. All work must be flat (no frames or glass). We will return the original. Package carefully! If extensive editing or scanning is required, it is performed at an hourly rate of $35 with a $35 minimum.
Mural Size
Measure the width and height of installation area and decide the size and
number of tiles you need. See

wish to have on the mural,

Crop Image to Fit for ideas on how the image can be adjusted. We
care about the quality of the image provided to us. We have successfully
enlarged images 10 times their original size, and we will notify you if we feel
that your image quality may not be sufficient for the size mural you request.

Send payment
to Dependable Printing & Imaging, 1701 Avondale Drive, Altavista,
VA 24517-1009 (check must be payable to Debbie Bernard). First, call or
email to
insure details of the tile order are clear. Have the number and type of tiles required and complete contact and shipping
information handy when you call, 434-660-7170. Payment must be received prior to
custom work being initiated. We will 'pre-qualify' your image at no charge to
assure you we can provide a high quality reproduction.
Payment Terms: Tile and shipping costs are due at time of order and then the balance (if any) due within 5 days (online payment) after the custom tiles are received. Sales tax must be charged to all Virginia customers unless a tax exempt certificate or resale number is furnished before the order is complete. Any balance still due 30 days after the order is received will incur a 1.5% monthly additional finance charge. The customer agrees that if Dependable Printing/custom-tiles takes action to collect any overdue sums, the customer will pay reasonable traveling expenses, collection and attorney’s fees incident thereto. All legal matters will be subject to the jurisdiction of Campbell County, Virginia. Sales, excise, use, value-added and/or other taxes and duties are the sole responsibility of the recipient.
Production
time is normally 2 weeks. Let us know if you need the custom tiles sooner. The custom tile mural package
will contain installation and care instructions. Delivery time will depend upon
your distance from Virginia
Shipping Charges: Domestic shipping
charges are added to your cost, based on the size of your order. For any special
shipping method (e.g., overnight, international via FedEx), you will be invoiced for
the difference between the automatic shipping charge and the actual shipping
cost (plus any pre-approved editing charges, if necessary).
International:
We will need your advice and agreement on handling VAT, customs, and any other
fees prior to shipment. We can then arrange to prepay shipping and invoice for
all costs involved. Sales, excise, use, value-added and/or other taxes and
duties are the sole responsibility of the recipient.
Shipping
Damage:
custom-tiles will replace any product
damaged in shipping. We save all images for at least one month for customer
